NSW: Man shot in head in Sydney's west
SYDNEY, Dec 15 AAP - Police were searching for a man after a shooting at Carramar inSydney's west early today, in which one man was severely wounded.
Police said they were called to a nightclub on the Hume Highway at Carramar at about4.20am after a man suffered a gunshot wound to his head.
They said witnesses told them a 24-year-old Prestons man had been involved in an altercationwith another man when a shot was fired and the other man ran from the club.
The Prestons man was taken to Liverpool Hospital and was in a critical condition afteremergency surgery.
Police said the man they were looking for was in his mid- to late twenties and of Mediterraneanappearance.
