Add an opening for a girls basketball coach at Chaminade JulienneHigh School to CJ's list that also includes leaders for football andgirls soccer.

"I have to put my full energies into finding a job," Williamssaid. "When I took the job two years ago I was on the managementside at Delphi and everything looked good.

"Then Delphi closed down and those of us in management got leftwithout much in the way of a pension or health benefits. I was OKfor a while, but now I have to make a choice. I'd have loved to stayon at CJ, but the responsibilities I have at home come first.

"I had been contemplating what to do for the last half of theseason. I wanted to give Jon (athletic director Jon Payne) plenty oftime to search for a top-notch candidate."

Prior to coaching at CJ, Williams helped run the Dayton LadyHoopStars -- one of the top AAU programs in the country. He had beenan assistant under former CJ coach Marc Greenberg in the 2006-07 and2007-08 seasons before leaving the program.

He was named coach in July 2009 after Greenberg was arrested amonth earlier and charged with sending obscene material to minorsover the Internet.

"I felt some extra pressure because of the circumstances when Itook over," Williams said. "But I feel good that I was able to takeone of the most successful programs in the state and keep it at ahighly competitive level."

Payne said he is accepting applications. Those interested shouldsend a cover letter and resume to 505 S. Ludlow, Dayton, Ohio, 45402or visit www.cjeagles.org.

Meanwhile, CJ continues its search to replace football coach AndyHelms, who was ousted in February after five years on the job.

"We've had a lot of great individuals from all over the countryapply," Payne said. "We've gone through the interview process. Ihope we can fill the job within the next couple of weeks."
