Vic: Second hang glider pilot in serious condition
A second Victorian hang glider pilot is in a serious condition in hospital after crashing
off Portsea last night.
The 37-year-old man was airlifted to the Alfred Trauma centre after losing control
of his glider and crashing at about 7pm in Portsea just south-east of Melbourne.
He was partially submerged and was being pounded by heavy seas when he was spotted.
The man, who had been flying alone from a hang glider launching area in the Mornington
