Qld: Sister of murder victims appeals for help

BRISBANE, April 28 AAP - A woman whose three siblings were brutally slain in a suburbanBrisbane home today spoke of her family's pain as she appealed for help.
Sonia Pathik, the older sister of Neelma, Kunal and Sidhi Singh who were found murderedat their Bridgeman Downs home in north Brisbane last week, said it was hard to put thefamily's loss in words.
"This is not easy - one person dies, it's fine, you tend to deal with it, but we'velost three. I don't know what words to say," Ms Pathik said.
Police believe the siblings were killed in their beds before being dragged into a bathroomand dumped in a spa last Tuesday.
Ms Pathik today joined police in appealing for help to solve the murders.
"I would like help from the media to get this message out to the public that anyoneout there that has got any sort of information, either small, that might not be relevantto you but relevant to the police department, please come forward," Ms Pathik said.
"We really, really need your help - we really do."
Ms Pathik, a 26-year-old computer worker, said despite marrying and moving out of homein 1998 she kept in daily touch with her family.
"We were really close - every day there was communication there and I never felt thatI was living out of the house," Ms Pathik said.
She said as the oldest child she was "always there" for her siblings and they wouldbe open with her.
Ms Pathik said 24-year-old Neelma was career minded and loved to travel and cook.
Her 18-year-old brother Kunal was starting a career in the family business.
"He loved R&B (rhythm and blues) songs, he loved his friends and most of all he lovedsports cars," Ms Pathik said.
The youngest sister, 12-year-old Sidhi, was "a very lovely person, smart for her age"
and in the process of making new friends.
Investigating officers have refused to reveal how the trio died but it is understoodthey were either drowned, strangled or bludgeoned.
